Exploring the Future of Healthcare: Bewatec Showcases Smart Solutions at China (Changchun) Medical Equipment Expo

The China (Changchun) Medical Equipment Expo, hosted by the Changchun International Chamber of Commerce, will be held at the Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 11th to 13th, 2024. Bewatec will be showcasing their research-based intelligent bed 4.0-driven smart specialty digital solutions at booth T01. You are cordially invited to join us for this exchange!

Currently, the medical industry continues to face longstanding challenges. Physicians are busy with their daily rounds, ward duties, and research, while patients have limited access to medical resources and insufficient attention to their pre- and post-diagnostic services. Remote and internet-based medical care is one solution to these challenges, and the development of internet medical platforms relies heavily on technological advancements. In the era of large-scale artificial intelligence models, smart specialty digital solutions have the potential to provide better solutions for remote and internet-based medical care.

Looking back at the evolution of medical service models over the past 30 years, driven by digitization, there has been a transition from version 1.0 to 4.0. In 2023, the use of generative AI accelerated the advancement of the medical service model 4.0, with the potential to achieve value-based payment for efficacy and increased home-based treatments. The digitization and smartification of tools are also expected to significantly improve service efficiency.

Over the past 30 years, medical service models have progressed through stages from 1.0 to 4.0, gradually moving towards the digital era. The period from 1990 to 2007 marked the era of traditional medical models, with hospitals as the main providers of healthcare and physicians as authorities guiding patients’ health-related decisions. From 2007 to 2017, the era of machine integration (2.0) allowed different departments to connect through electronic systems, enabling better management, for example, in the medical insurance field. Starting in 2017, the era of proactive interactive care (3.0) emerged, allowing patients to access various information online and engage in discussions with medical professionals, facilitating better understanding and management of their health. Now, entering the 4.0 era, the application of AI generative technology is capable of processing natural language, and it is expected that the digital medical service model 4.0 will provide preventive and predictive care and diagnosis under technological progress.

In this rapidly evolving era of the medical industry, we sincerely invite you to attend the expo and explore the future of medical care together. At the exhibition, you will have the opportunity to learn about the latest medical equipment technologies and solutions, engage in in-depth discussions with industry-leading companies and experts, and collectively embark on a new chapter in medical service models. We look forward to your presence!
